The co-hosted Experiences (formerly known as "BiniPool")
A co-hosted Experience is an experience that has been curated by a dedicated Local, who shares a suggested itinerary with the community of Locals subscribed to that Experience. These Experiences are verified and tested by LocalBini and receive bookings more frequently as they are available multiple times per day, every day.
If you are knowledgeable about a specific co-hosted Experience, you can join that community of Locals to host that Experience. Every time a traveller books that Experience, you and other Locals in the same community will receive a notification and then you can decide whether you wish to host it. It is up to you! Accepting a request makes a commitment.

What does LocalBini offer?
LocalBini offers a fun way to earn money, showing off your city and meeting interesting people from all over the world. Join our platform and enjoy the flexibility of choosing your working hours.
What kind of Experiences can I offer?
You can choose from a wide range of Experiences curated by members of the LocalBini community. We recommend choosing to offer an Experience only if you are knowledgeable and passionate about that Experience category/topic. In some countries, you are obliged to have specific licences or certificates to host specific Experiences. Make sure you always comply with your local regulations. Even if you are a member of one or more BiniPool Experiences, you can also create and host your own unique Experience.
How many Experience bookings will I be receiving?
The number of bookings you may receive depends on how attractive your destination is, on our distribution network and the travel situation.
Will I be signing an employment contract with LocalBini?
No, you won’t need to sign an employment contract with LocalBini. Being part of the LocalBini Community and hosting Experiences as a Local Ambassador is a freelance activity. By signing up and conducting an Experience, you agree to the LocalBini Platform Legal Terms.
How many travellers will I be hosting during an Experience?
To promote sustainable tourism, the system by default limits group size to a maximum of six people per BiniPool Experience. On average, the group size is three people, so Experiences are usually rather personal and familiar.
Will I receive any material from LocalBini to prepare for my Experiences?
Before you host your very first BiniPool Experience, you will receive a “Local Ambassador Handbook” with information on what to keep in mind before, during and after hosting an Experience. The Handbook includes tips that other Local Hosts have gathered and want to share with fellow hosts. The platform sends you also a suggested itinerary for theBiniPool Experience, which has been curated by another Local Ambassador. It is up to you to decide the order of the items on the itinerary and if you would like to show your guests some additional spots in your city. Make sure to prepare beforehand the stories and insights you would like to tell your guests.
How will I be paid?
The money you earned by hosting Experiences will be wire-transferred to your bank account once a month. LocalBini acts as a payment collecting agent for you. LocalBini handles your payment and charges a commission on all transactions.
Will I need liability insurance?
We recommend that all Local Ambassadors have “personal liability insurance” in the unlikely case of an incident. LocalBini is not liable for any incidents that may occur to you or your Guests before, during or after an Experience.
Who pays my Taxes?
You are responsible for paying taxes on the earnings you make via the LocalBini platform.
What measures should I be taking during the current Covid-19 pandemic?
We kindly ask you to please follow the regulations applicable in your country or region. Please, also inform your guests beforehand about the safety measures and rules they will need to follow. If you feel unwell before or during the Experience, please notify the travellers and LocalBini on here.
